on 4 September at 10:45 pm

Apple has just started sending invites to press and media inviting them to a huge packed event in Yerba Buana Center of Arts in San Fransisco on September 12th. Apple didn’t talk about the specifics of the event, nor provided any details about the products to be launched but their invites says it all:

If you haven’t spotted it yet, the shadow of the 12 in the image is 5 which doesn’t tell anything but the facts that Apple’s upcoming iPhone would be called ‘iPhone 5′ and that the event is all about the iPhone – no iPad mini, no iTV or anything else.

As rumored earlier, Apple is expected to hold a separate event in October to announce iPad mini.

iPhone 5 is expected to come out with a 4-inch screen, a slimmer body and an LTE capability.

It is very little left to get leaked about the iPhone 5 by now but the days left for the event are going to be the hottest on rumors and leaks. We’d keep you posted, just make sure you are getting SMS updates.
